Based on questions and concerns of perspective students many have asked if a fifth year of a foreign language will count toward the course requirement. The answer is "yes." If a student were to take five years of spanish or german then they would only have three credits left to earn toward the certificate. One of those would be "World History" or "AP European History" leaving two additional credits throughout their high school career.
