Puerto Rico-American Author speaking in Milwaukee

Nelson Denis is a former state assemblyman from New York where he served east Harlem (a very Latino rich district). He is a writer for the New York Times and recently published the book War Against All Puerto Ricans: A History of Economic Chaos and Political Terror in America's Colony. Denis explores the history of Puerto Rico as a US Colony and expands on the nationalist view of independence for the Island and explains a negative history of the United States and our country's involvement on the island.
