Wisconsin Global School's Global Youth Summit for 2017 has been announced. For students interested in an opportunity to interact with other students from around Wisconsin and University Students who are also interested in Global Education, this Summit is for you. The Global Youth Summit will take place on Saturday, March 4 from 9am until 3:30 at the UW Madison Campus. Cost for the day long event is $10 and will cover lunch and drink for the day.

What is it: The Global Youth Summit is a day event with about 160 students collaborating, discussing and learning about global issues with other high school students and college students. The Global Youth Summit is an approved event counting toward the Global Citizenship Requirement.

Cost: $10 to cover lunch and beverage

Where: University of Wisconsin Madison, Union-South building.

Past events: In past years students have watched performances and learned about international music and in 2016 students heard from a panel of refugee high school students attending school in Milwaukee. Students heard about the refugee experience, why they were forced from their homes and then planned service projects to help refugees in Milwaukee and abroad.
