Early October, German students from Hollenberg, Germany will be visiting with two of their teachers for a two week period. On Wed. October 11 the lead chaperones, Herr Menn and Frau Drossler and up to 18 students from Germany will be participating in a panel discussion with our students sharing perspectives often taught in Germany relating to education, the World Wars, Cold War and Germany's role in the world and European Union today. It is a great opportunity for students to learn how topics we learn about here in the United States are taught around the world and from non-American Perspectives. Come with questions and a willingness to learn. Snacks and beverages may be provided.

For Global Certificate students attending the event this can count toward your global citizenship requirement. You will want to let Mr. Montanye know you plan on attending (montama@masd.k12.wi.us) and he will provide you with a "guest speaker: Question and Answer" form to be prepared before the event and completed during/after. You may then share this paper with your global certificate mentor to count toward your certificate.
