2018-19 updates!

Reminder with the 2018-19 school year we are now requiring due dates throughout the global certificate process. For all current global certificate students a literary review needs to be turned in to your mentor through google classroom or in paper form by Monday September 10. Our goal is to help students complete the global certificate requirements by providing due dates to help move them through the process.

Take advantage of your English class! This year all English classes are requiring silent reading time. Your text is a free choice up to you. Choose a book that fits the global certificate requirements. This new opportunity in your English classes should make completing the literacy requirements much more attainable throughout the school year. Remember a literary review is still required to document your learning.

There will be selective Flex time sessions to sign up for throughout the school year to help assist students with their global certificate experience. The first Flex times will be September 13 and 14 to explain the program to new interested students. Looking ahead there will be additional flex times this fall on the topics of "creating a service project" and "help organizing the literary review." Additional topics will be created in relation to different requirements. Have an idea that you and other students are struggling with?
